New-Style Wrap
We introduce a very flexible version of the U.K. wrap concept through an open architecture wrap-style platform. Clients hold a number of different investments and instruments (general investment accounts, ISAs, PEPs, SIPPS, etc.) in one place. Call it a combination of all major market equity and fixed income marketable securities married to a funds supermarket and expanding on that. Further, unlike most wraps the account fee is not asset based, but one low standard annual fee. Investment management is charged separately.
We have both UK and US based accounts to serve both the UK based individual or entity or the international investor (including US Persons capabilities).
Open Architecture
From our perspective as your global investment managers, you have global approaches for global investment solutions. For example, you can choose alternative platforms to meet your needs based on jurisdiction as follows
- Equities (U.K., European, U.S., Asia, etc.)
- Fixed Income, including
- Corporate Bonds (domestic U.K., global, non-GBP currency)
- Gilts
- Eurobonds
- Investment Trusts
- U.K. Collectives (over 1600 UK Unit Trusts, OIECS, Funds, etc)
- Offshore mutual funds (many thousands of offshore and U.S. funds)
- Multi-currency Cash Alternatives
- And More
For your solution, you are not locked into one company’s choices or a supermarket’s proprietary group of funds.
Wrap
As open architecture allows the flexibility to add investments and investment instruments to the menu of choice, so wrap helps to consolidate these into one location. As a result, through one platform it is possible to have:
- One investment custodian holding all assorted investments and investment instruments
- One source for all account statements
- One investment management fee covering all investments at once
- One online access
- One individual to call and one phone number to reach them on
In some cases, all these conveniences may not be possible, but in principle it’s as simple as that. Great concept isn’t it?
